By creating an account, accessing, or using the Campalio platform, website (https://campalio.com), and associated APIs (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Campalio is a pre-launch campaign validation platform designed for startup founders, indie hackers, and product teams. The Service enables users to:
- Create, configure, and publish pre-launch campaign waitlists.
- Collect and manage subscriber leads via hosted waitlist forms or headless API endpoints.
- Configure referral tracking, milestone rewards, leaderboards, and lucky draw mechanics.
- Record traffic attribution sources (UTM parameters, referrers) and view campaign analytics.
- Export lead rosters and campaign metrics in CSV format.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
When you register for an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and tokens.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.
- Accept sole responsibility for all activities conducted under your workspace.
4. Prohibited Uses & Anti-Spam Policy
You agree not to use Campalio for any of the following prohibited activities:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, spam, or phishing campaigns through our waitlist notifications.
- Collecting unauthorized personal data, financial information, or sensitive health data.
- Attempting to bypass API rate limits, authentication guards, or origin whitelists.
- Engaging in fraudulent referral generation, bot submissions, or artificial leaderboard manipulation.
- Distributing malware, malicious code, or exploiting platform vulnerabilities.
5. Intellectual Property & Campaign Content
Your Content: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to the campaign copy, logos, images, and brand assets you publish on Campalio. You grant Campalio a non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
Campalio IP: The Campalio name, trademarks, user interface designs, software, documentation, and underlying codebase remain the exclusive property of Campalio and its licensors.
6. API Usage & Developer Integrations
For founders using our headless ingestion APIs (POST /api/v1/leads/:waitlistSlug):
- You are responsible for securing your campaign API keys and configuring allowed CORS origins.
- Public ingestion endpoints are subject to automated rate limiting (30 requests/minute per client IP).
- We reserve the right to throttle or revoke API access in cases of suspected abuse.
7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CAMPALIO DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CAMPALIO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via Account Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or compromise platform integrity.
